Sana’s mehendi ceremony was a simple and sophisticated affair. She looked resplendent in an attractive green outfit which brought out the beauty of the mehendi itself. Interestingly, in Indian weddings a ritual which is eagerly anticipated by brides is the ‘mehendi ki raat’. By decorating their hands and feet with ‘henna’ or mehendi, the bride represents the bond of matrimony between the couple and their families.
